I’m here for all of your Albuquerque newborn photography, maternity photography, and family photography needs!
For a location that truly shows off the beauty of what New Mexico is known for, I recommend a location with mountain views. Luckily, you’ve got a few options right here in the Albuquerque Area!
This is a pretty popular location, and there’s obviously a reason for it! This location works at sunset or sunrise, and is pretty centrally located for most families that live in Albuquerque. You can get a little bit of everything at this spot for maximum variety in your gallery, including mountain views, backlit trees, and an open field.
Another spot that’s great at both sunset and sunrise, and on those tricky overcast days! For sunrise, you can shoot almost exclusively down by the bosque. At sunset, we will use this beautiful forest for about 2/3 of your session and finish up at the bosque. It’s a quick 5 minute walk to the forest, and then another minute or so to the bosque.
Just want to be surrounded by nature, but not necessarily mountains? Looking for a little more variety within your gallery? This is the section for you!
Doc Long has so many great options! A small pine forest, a nice open field that gets the best fall colors, and a beautiful overlook with some mountain views and lots of big rocks for kiddos to climb on. The overlook involves a quick trek about 100 feet up a fairly steep hill, but I promise the views are worth the cardio workout!
My absolute favorite summer location! The grass is green, there are plenty of wildflowers, and it’s so much cooler up in the mountains! Your kiddos will have plenty of room to run around and play, too. There is about a 10 minute walk on a rocky trail from the parking lot to this location.
Located in the heart of Albuquerque, this location is a great option for those who don’t want to drive too far. The little bridge is great for smaller families or individual portraits of each kid. There is a quick 5 minute walk past a playground to get to this location.
